Good to know
Four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, a private hot tub, and a bamboo-lined backyard - this Dutch Colonial home in Redwood City is built for groups who want room to breathe and space to gather. Whether you're here for a Silicon Valley work trip, a family getaway, or a long weekend with friends, the setting delivers both comfort and character. Living space Step inside to find original woodwork, a cozy sitting nook, and a mid-century dining area that gives the home a warmth you won't find in a standard rental. The living room is intentionally kept TV-free - a deliberate choice that creates space for conversation and connection. The fully equipped kitchen opens directly toward the backyard, making it easy to move between cooking and outdoor dining without missing a beat. Sleeping arrangements Upstairs, a queen suite comes with its own en suite bathroom. A second bedroom on the upper level includes a private balcony with garden views, and a third bedroom features a twin trundle setup - well suited for families travelling with kids. A hallway bathroom serves the remaining upstairs rooms. On the main floor, a studio with a sofa bed, TV, and private entrance offers a self-contained option for guests who prefer a bit more separation - or a quiet place to work during the day. Kitchen & dining The kitchen is fully stocked for serious cooking - stainless steel gas stove, oven, refrigerator, mini fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, hot water kettle, toaster, wine glasses, and a complete set of dishes and cookware. A dining table inside and an outdoor dining area outside give you options depending on the weather and the mood. Outdoor space The fully fenced backyard is lined with bamboo for privacy and centered around a private hot tub. Pull up a seat at the outdoor furniture, fire up the fire pit, or settle into the patio for a slower evening. It's a genuinely useful outdoor space - not just decorative. Extras worth noting Air conditioning and central heating keep things comfortable year-round. In-unit washer and dryer, iron, drying rack, and clothing storage handle the practical side of a longer stay. Strong WiFi and a dedicated workspace with a door make remote work straightforward. Free parking on premises accommodates one to two cars, with additional space on the driveway and street. A crib and Pack 'n play are on-site for families travelling with little ones, and a ping pong table adds a casual option for downtime. Location Redwood City sits at the center of the Peninsula, with easy access to Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and the broader Silicon Valley corridor. Dining and entertainment are walkable, and major tech campuses are a short drive away - making this a practical base whether you're here for business or exploring the Bay Area. Please note: This property does not allow pets.
