Good to know
Perched on the top floor of one of Bernal Heights' oldest Victorian homes, this apartment puts you above the rooftops with city skyline and garden views stretching out in every direction. A family-cared-for landmark that has earned a place in San Francisco tour books, it carries decades of creative spirit in every corner - diamond-pitched ceilings, original artwork, and a curated mix of Mid-Century Modern, antique, and vintage furnishings that feel genuinely lived-in rather than staged. On crisp San Francisco evenings, when the Bay Bridge lights up against a darkening sky, this top-floor perch becomes something quietly special. Living space The living room is arranged for easy relaxation, with comfortable seating oriented toward the city skyline view - a backdrop that shifts from golden afternoon light to the soft glow of the city after dark. Central heating and a portable heater keep things comfortable through San Francisco's characteristically cool evenings, so there is no reason to rush back indoors. A BOSE Bluetooth sound system, HDTV with Roku, books, and reading material round out the space for quieter nights in. Sleeping arrangements Two bedrooms offer a restful setup for up to four guests. The first bedroom features a Queen bed alongside a uniquely shaped walk-in closet, while the second offers a Full bed with additional clothing storage nearby. Luxury 100% Bamboo sheet linens, extra pillows, and blankets are provided throughout. Kitchen and dining The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook and eat comfortably at home - refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and a solid set of cookware, dishes, and silverware. A Keurig coffee machine and hot water kettle make slow mornings easy, and wine glasses are on hand for evenings in. The dining table seats the group comfortably for meals, and Wifi is available throughout the apartment if you need to work between outings. Bathroom The bathroom includes a bathtub, hair dryer, and cleaning products, with Public Goods shampoo, conditioner, and body soap provided for your stay. Outdoor spaces A private patio or balcony gives you a dedicated outdoor spot to step outside for fresh air and city views at any time of day. A fully fenced backyard extends the outdoor space further, with outdoor furniture set up for unhurried moments in the fresh air - even in cooler months. Workspace and extras A dedicated workspace in a shared indoor area comes equipped with a surge protector, making it a practical setup for remote work. A yoga mat is also available for stretching or mindfulness sessions during your stay. The private entrance and self check-in via lockbox mean arrivals are easy on your own schedule. Location Bernal Heights is one of San Francisco's most grounded and characterful neighborhoods - known for its colorful Victorian homes, independent cafes, local markets, and a genuinely welcoming community. Restaurants, coffee shops, parks, and public transit are all within walking distance, with straightforward access to the Mission District, Valencia Corridor, and beyond. Bernal Hill, just nearby, offers one of the city's most rewarding panoramic viewpoints - particularly striking on clear winter days when visibility reaches across the Bay. Free street parking is available for guests arriving by car.

Neighborhood
THE NEIGHBORHOOD Outdoor enthusiasts, indoor bookworms, and foodies rejoice! Bernal Heights’ accessibility extends far beyond its practical commuter conveniences. Warm and inviting, Bernal Heights’ bright Victorian homes, organic markets, and gay and inclusive bars and cafes enhance its welcoming atmosphere. Nestled between the peaks of San Francisco’s rolling hills, this casual and approachable neighborhood is a charming residential respite in the City by the Bay. Bernal Height was voted the hottest neighborhood in America recently. Here’s what folks are saying: “Bernal Heights has “It”. It has the small town feel while still being in San Francisco. You can feel as though you’re separated from the craziness of the city when you get home, yet are so close if you desire a night on the town.” There are so many restaurants (too many to count), coffee shops, and cool places to go within walking distance of the house. It’s also within waling distance of our major public transportation (BART & MUNI) and near one of the most amazing spots in the entire city-Bernal Hill. We LOVE our neighborhood. And know you will too. And we are near the dynamic and Historic Mission district and the very hip and happening Valencia Corridor.
