Good to know
Fog drifts across the hills as morning light fills tall windows and rooftops stretch toward the Bay. From this classic Noe Valley Victorian, the city feels close yet comfortably removed. High ceilings and period details create a warm setting for cooler February days, while heating keeps the home cozy as you return from exploring San Francisco’s neighborhoods. Sleeping arrangements The vaulted primary bedroom offers a quiet retreat with an en-suite bathroom and shower. French doors open directly to a large private deck with Adirondack chairs and sweeping Bay and city skyline views. The second bedroom features two twin beds and an en-suite sink, along with ample closet and dresser space. A second full bathroom downstairs includes a claw-foot tub with shower, adding to the home’s historic character. Beds are outfitted with European Sleepworks mattresses and quality linens. Living spaces Hardwood floors run throughout the home, and generous natural light fills the main living areas. Whether you’re gathering after a day in the city or settling in with a book, the space feels open and comfortable. Wifi and a dedicated workspace make it easy to stay connected. Kitchen & dining The fully renovated kitchen opens directly onto a deck, pairing everyday functionality with Bay views. A dining table offers space to share meals prepared in the kitchen, and essentials are provided to make cooking at home simple and convenient. Outdoor living Two decks extend the living space outdoors, even in cooler seasons. Step out from the kitchen or primary bedroom to take in skyline and Bay views, or wander into the private backyard - fully fenced and landscaped with flowering plants and a Meyer lemon tree. A park with basketball courts, tennis courts, and a playground sits directly across the street. Amenities & access The home includes heating, washer and dryer, bathroom essentials, self check-in via keypad, and a private entrance. Exterior security cameras are positioned near the front door. Free street parking is available, with street cleaning every two weeks. Neighborhood Located three blocks from 24th Street, you’re close to cafés, specialty shops, groceries, and public transportation. Glen Park Canyon’s trails are within walking distance, and Golden Gate Park, the Castro, the Mission District, and downtown are easily accessible. Perfect for couples, friends, or small families seeking an entire home in one of San Francisco’s most inviting neighborhoods.
Other Details to Note
::NO TV:: There’s no television in the unit — a great excuse to unplug and enjoy the views, conversation, or a good book. ::STREET CLEANING:: takes place every two weeks, so please be sure to check posted signs to avoid tickets. ::WINDOWS:: The windows in the twin bedroom do not open due to past neighborhood noise concerns from guests, but we provide a fan to keep the room comfortable. ::OLD HOME:: The home was built in 1906, so you may notice a few charming quirks that come with a classic San Francisco property. ::NEIGHBORS:: There is a small in-law unit on the property where I stay when I’m not upstairs. Occasionally, friends may visit and stay in that space. Your unit remains private, with your own private entry, though you may see us coming and going. The backyard is shared. We’re located on a hill — not steep by San Francisco standards, but it is a hill! The upside is sweeping 180° views and an outdoor deck that’s one of the best spots in the city to take them in.
