Other Details to Note

This is a vintage cabin built in 1906, so you may notice a few quirks here and there—slightly uneven floors, cozy room sizes, and a charming (but old) stove that takes a little patience. We think it adds to the magic, but want you to be comfy and informed! There is no air conditioning. The cabin stays relatively cool thanks to the forest setting and shaded deck, but we provide fans for warmer days. We’re in the forest! Expect the occasional critter or pine needle—nature is part of the charm. We have regular pest control and do our best to keep everything tidy. WiFi is available, but due to the remote setting, speeds can vary. Great for streaming and email—maybe not ideal for multiple Zoom meetings. We love this little place and hope you will too. If you ever have questions before booking, feel free to reach out! Pets: We allow 1 dog under 60lbs or 2 under 40lbs but we would like to ensure that all guests are safe so if you bring your dog, please be respectful and do not allow them on the furniture, pick up their waste from the yard, do not leave them alone in the house without supervision. Due to our dog visiting the home and one of us having allergies, we do not allow cats or any other animal in the house, thank you for understanding. PLEASE NOTE: Host truck is parked inside the fence until late 2025 🚗 Camp Meeker roads are narrow and may require careful maneuvering, especially if another car is approaching. Please drive slowly and carefully. 🎵 Amplified music is prohibited outdoors at all times. Sonoma County quiet hours are strictly enforced between 9pm-7am. Please be respectful of our neighbors. Most of all, enjoy Camp Meeker!

Such a beautiful home! We loved the wooden cabin vibe. It was perfectly located not far from the nearest shops in Occidental and also close to all the nature activities in the area. We loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay at the house! It's so quaint and rustic, and the main room was perfect for gathering in the evenings after our days out exploring. One of our favorite parts was sitting on the front deck in the deck chairs, listening to the trees sway, it was incredibly relaxing. We also appreciated the yoga mats and the peaceful ring of trees with a bench, which was a wonderful spot for meditation to start the day. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to use the outdoor shower which we look forward to next time!

This was one of our favorite Airbnbs we've stayed at in Northern California. If you're looking for an ultra modern, cookie cutter space, this is not it. KT's 100+ year old cabin had the character and love that you'd expect out of a home nestled in the redwoods. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked (thank you for having spices and other cooking essentials! Many Airbnbs take the leftovers that guests leave behind), and the home was cozy. The outdoor amenities were phenomenal. We used the hot tub multiple times, showered in the outdoor shower and, yes, perhaps used the outdoor toilet. Camp Meeker is quiet yet super close to Occidental - 5min up the road. We will absolutely love to visit again. Oh and it's dog friendly!

Excellent place to stay. Quiet and felt secluded. Well stocked kitchen. Would recommend to download offline maps on google prior as there is no mobile access in the area but relatively easy to find. Would stay again if I was in the area.
